McLaren gifts pole to Vettel?

Sebastian Vettel took pole position for the Japanese Grand Prix, but only after Lewis Hamilton missed the start of his final qualifying lap by a couple of seconds when the chequered flag came out. It was an expensive miscalculation for the McLaren team as Hamilton had looked the most likely to grab pole position after [...]

It works....

There was an article a few issues ago on doing faded paint jobs from a rattle can.  Tried it last night...it actually works....

That is the Chezoom body; the body is one of the worst I've ever worked on, so I'm going to semi-slam it to see what it looks like finished.

Doctors use Formula One pit crews as safety model

American Medical News reports hospitals in at least a dozen countries are learning how to translate the split-second timing and near-perfect synchronisation of Formula One pit crews to the high-risk handoffs of patients from surgery to recovery and intensive care.
"In Formula One, they have checklists, databases, and they have well-defined processes for doing things, and we don't really have any of those things in health care."

Home Sweet Home

This was a fun build for me . I used a leaf punch on real leaves and about 3 pounds of real dirt from outside in a sifter to make it fine. The bits of grass is from a plant topper cut into little bits. I used the crackle paint on the fence and house and the tree is from a dead bush from outside. House, fence, and crate for the skeleton is all made from Basel wood and the roof tile is from plastruct. I plan to add more as time goes on.  I love this hobby. Thanks for checkin it out and until next time ......model on.
