For some time now, model airplane builders have been dipping clear canopies in Future for a great, clear shine that resists superglue fogging.
I'm wondering if it might not work for a whole model car body. Future is cheap enough that you could fill a Tupperware container with the stuff, and use that container for many bodies.
The idea is you would lower the body into the container and then raise it back out slowly to avoid air bubbles and runs. Then just lay it down on a flat surface and let it dry. (Might not hurt to cover it with a box or something to keep dust off as it dries.)
Would it work? Anyone ever done this?
