Just scored this on Ebay! Ive been wanting an Entex kit of either the Model T stakebed, or the van, which is what I found. its 1/16th scale, and it has to be the most detailed model kit of a T I've ever seen. Just building it out of the box, the detail would surpass alot of my models Ive built and detailed! The doors are all hinged, it has real wood pannels for the interior, plug wires, fuel lines, even brake rods. There's even "Ford" engraved on some of the parts like the engine and front axel.
Here's what's inside, there's a choice of 4 markings for it, Im going with the Coca- Cola decals. I havent decided on the color scheme for it, either a creamy white with blak fenders like the one on the box, or with red fenders....either way, I'll have the body pinstriped in red to match the Coca Cola logo.
This gives you and idea about how big will be, even though its large scale, it wont take up much space since Model T's are pretty small anyways!
Once I have alil more free time, I'll start working on it, and maybe have it ready for the next model contest, or atleast the one after it. (there's 3 or 4 contests year in my area) Ive been searching for pics of these entex kits built and Ive only found 2, so i was wondering if anyone on here has one of these models, and could share some pics to give me some ideas.

I've been working on it off and on whenever i have some time to kill, or when im taking a break from school work. I have alot of the engine done, I stil lhave a few smaller pieces I need to glue on. IWhen mixed a few colors for the engine, it came out glossy, which didnt look ght to me. Just about all the restored Model T's Ive seen, even some in musuems have grimey engines, and dont have much of a shine to them. So i just brush a light black wash ove the whole engine, which took away some of that shine that bothered me.
Here's the chassis so far, still have alot of smaller parts left to glue on it, and the rear axel, then I'll began to get the wheels on it. The wheels are painted the color im painting the rest of the van. Forgot the exact name but its a Modelmaster Ford color. So I'll be painting the body that color, with black fenders, and black pinstripes.
And here's the cowl for it, it came in 4 pieces, so I had to do some body work to blend it all together. I didnt worry too much about blending the firewall because some wood trim will be covering that anyways. The pinstriping was done with a sharpie, just by lightly tracing over the body lines.
Here's most of the chassis detail, this is all box stock! For some odd reason the rear axel was off, even though the rear spring for it is molded to the chassis! The rear wheels were rubbing on the front of the rear fenders. So to fix that, I cut out the rear crossmember, with the rear spring, and moved it back just a tad, and everything lined up great! The only things I havent added yet in this pic are the gas lines for the lanterns, and the speedometer cable, which are also included in the kit. The wood floor is just plastic, with a wood grain on it. It was molded in a tanish shade, so I just added a few washesd of acrylic brown, red, and alittle bit of black. And After it dried, I wiped down some of the heavy areas with a we paper towel.
Here's some of the interior progress. I have the speedometer, and cable hooked up to the right front spindle, and Ive added some of the wood trim. The wood door pannel came in the kit, but I added some wood trim inside the cowl, and ontop of where the seat cushon will be. I didn't like the look of the saet that came in the kit, so I took one from a trashed, 1/20th scale T delivery van, which still looked pretty decent even though it was a tad small. The steering column was made from alluminum tubing which I stuck in a vise and flattned for a more acurate shape, and slid over the kit's column.
I apollogize for this, but I havent taken any more progress pics. I have the model done now, so I'll post a few pics of it done. I wanted to have is done in time for a contest, so I didnt have much time to stop and take pics as I was building.
I had to paint the lanterns black to fill in the seams since they came in 2 halves. I also panted them black becuase the 1913 models had painted lanterns, with some brass trim. I know I said eariler in this post I wanted to use the Coke decals. After some research I found out those werent period correct decals. So i went with my 2nd favorite, the "Texas Company" (AKA Texaco) decals, but they had no Texaco logos. So I made some on the computer, luckily I found a pic of a 1913 Texaco logo through Google, and made that into my decal and put that on both front doors, and both rear doors.
