kitbashed/scratchbuilt L.A.V.

This is one of the few vehicles in my collection with weaponry. Also, unlike many of my creations that are intentionally hodge-podged together, this one would have been built while society was still barely hanging on, and materials were more plentiful.

Light Attack Vehicle:

Two kits were used as base source material; Tamiya's 1966 VW Beetle & Hasegawa's Kubelwagen Type 82. The pan, chassis, & drivetrain are from the Beetle, and the rear and top (not the sides, though) are from the Kubelwagen's engine compartment. Front wheels from the Beetle, rears from the Kubel. Some asstd. small bits also sourced from the kits. The dash is from Tamiya's Honda (S2000?) roadster.  Everything else is scratchbuilt or from the parts bin.  The dart gun(s) are entirely scratchbuilt.
