Best Tool Brands?

I'm planning on re-entering the model building hobby (last build was 35 yrs ago when I was a teenager).  As a first step, I want to set up a build table and need to begin stocking it with tools and supplies.  I like using high quality tools, so I would be interested in any recommendation as to brands I should consider or avoid.
