Hi all, I got some questions regarding a few kits that come to my mind at the moment. Some of 'dese I have some I don't, and i'm willing to find out more about them so I know what to expect.
First off is the Revell-o-gram '78 Chevy El Camino "LOWRIDER" series issue from 2004 (it's the one with the Black & Purple car on the box with graphics (have this kit).
I bought this one a month ago at a show and it says it's a 2-in-1. I'm wondering if it still has the camper piece, and the other custom options as the 2000 issue which first featured the Lowrider parts, but was a 3-in-1 (Red car with gold graphics on box (never got that one, sniff, sniff). Also curious to see if the "Black Knight" decals as the 1979 and 2000 issues had are in there too, or does it only have the not-too bad looking graphics.
I don't have pics of it as it's wraped up for christmas, but I'm pretty sure ya'll know which one it is.
Second is the Revell "Car Show" '36 Ford Coupe/Convertable (Newest issue, don't have it yet, might get it someday).
Is this one based off of the MONOGRAM '37 Ford kits or is it a newer/older tool? How hard is it to put the coupe top on being itsa SEPRATE piece? And does it have the IFS & IRS units like the '37 Ford kits have if it's really based if them ot just the old axle stuff? Also, I was told that Michaels arts & crafts finally has this one in stock... has anybody seen it there? Looking to get it cheap with my 50% off coupons rather than crapping out over $25 elsewere.
Third is the AMT/ERTL '32 Ford Phantom Vicky 'vert kit (Crica 2002 - Yellow car on box (yeah, got this one also)
Haz anybody built one? Are there any issues, and how hard is this kit to put together being a new tool? (some of the stuff like the windsheld and KROME suspension bits look scary to deal with).
Forth is the AMT/ERTL '60 Chevy Custom Fleetside (Blue car on box crica 1998 (Got that one also)
Does it have a V8 option and a Lowered suspension? or is it just stock though it says "Custom" and is probably a box art typo.
If U guys got any info on these, it would be greatly appreacated!!
Peace out,
V
