This model i built many years ago and i was never happy with it. 
It was easy to strip it down, and it took nearly a week in the brake fluid (BF) to remove the paint. it didn't fit in my normal BF container, so i cut the side out of a large plastic bottle to use. Even then it wasn't really clean, but enough to sand off for repainting.
