I am actually going to try to build AND COMPLETE 2 models at once, even with about 10 others in progress as well. this is the start of my dual "BAD COUSINS" build.
The Challenger in the back ground is my "340 SHAKER" 70 Challenger, which while working on it I decided it needed a partner in crime. I was undecided on which way to build it. Was close to going Pro-Touring with it, but decide to build a Pro-Touring Cuda to go with her instead. That decision really helped me finally determine how to build the Challenger.
The 'cuda is going to be a Pro-Touring 71 Phantom HEMI AAR 'cuda. Wheels and tires are from the new revell concept Camaro. Chassis is fromr the Challenger as the Challenger is using the chassis from the Revell 70 AAR cuda.i have already removed the engine bay from the 70 and placed it in the 71 as it is closer to an actual cuda. The hood was stretched using the front panel from the AAR and was also shaved down to fit the 71 body. I am in the process of cutting the interior door panels from the 71's interior tub and using the door panels from the AAR as they too are more correct and have more detail. Going to also be using the dash from the AAR for the same reason.
Both are going to be Dark & Sinister looking and will probably be painted the same color. still tossing colors around though.
This is just a lil teaser of both and I hope to start a WIP log for the Cuda this weekend and have some major updates on the "340 SHAKER" as well. So for those interested......STAY TUNED!
